Meet Anna! Anna has been on staff with New Visions for about 6 years. She is currently serving in our kitchen, but spent about 2 years as our Thrift Store Manager. She loves the positive environment at New Visions, and loves serving alongside of our wonderful volunteers!
Anna can be described as loyal, trustworthy, compassionate, and fun, and some of her best memories at New Visions include building relationships with volunteers and donors at the Thrift Store. She remembers helping one particular family acquire furniture and housewares to get settled after moving to the area. “They had no one here,” remembers Anna. “They didn’t speak English, but we managed to communicate and help them get what they needed to get established in their new home. After a few months, they continued to come back to the store almost every day because they said we were some of the first people to welcome them to our community.”
Visiting and connecting with people are some of Anna’s greatest gifts, and we’re so grateful that she is using those gifts to serve others at New Visions! Anna spends her free time going on walks and spending time in nature, and she loves pastel colors. Anna, we are thankful for you and we wish you lots of time outdoors enjoying nature!
